Travel through centuries of celebrations: an exploration of how Christmas traditions evolved at the Swetland Homestead. Celebrating Christmas with the Swetlands at the Swetland Homestead, 885 Wyoming Avenue, Wyoming, PA, will take visitors on a trip through time as they learn how the holiday customs that we love today developed during the 1800s in the Wyoming Valley. Swetland family members from the past will talk about how they celebrate Christmas – or don’t. The tour will include period hearth cooking demonstrations in the Swetland Homestead summer kitchen.
